Issues with Final Release of Silverlight

Hi,

Has anyone tried to upgrade any previously developed projects based on the beta 2 blueprint?  I've downloaded and installed the Microsoft Silverlight Tools for Visual Studio 2008 SP1 (RC1) on my dev machine.  The problem is my XAP file that I wrap in a Web part doesn't seem to fully initialize correctly.  I am getting an invisible canvas but no other content.  The upgrade notes also mentions that you'll have to upgrade your .csproj, but it never gives me an upgrade message.  I had developed this on the v2 beta 2.  It still runs correctly from Visual Studio.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Randy

Hello,

I have an issue with Silverlight 2 RTM too.

I have used ColleagueViewer with Silverlight beta 2 and it was working fine.
But now it doesn't work with Silverlight 2 RTM.
I have tried to compil the project with Visual Studio 2008 SP1, I have just a warning about cross- domain-policy.
But the WebPart doesn't work. I have a script error in the page on "System.ComponentModel.AsyncCompletedEventArgs".
What it the difference with SilverLight Beta 2 ?
How can I use ColleagueViewer with Silverlight 2 RTM ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

I realized my problem.  I hadn't packaged the correct .XAP file within my SharePoint Web part.  Feeling really stupid now.  I did blog about this and a few other things I learned:  http://www.synergyonline.com/blog/blog-moss/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=40  (should be posted by the end of the day).
